This is “The Big Leagues” - it’s a 20” X 24” x .75” acrylic on canvas painting that is framed with a high quality hardwood black float frame. This painting was created “alla prima”, that is, wet on wet. I used Golden’s open acrylics which are a little more viscous and don’t dry as fast as their hard body acrylics do. So I can take my time. As the creative process unfolds, the paints are mixed and combined directly on the canvas. This style of painting is very expressive and in the moment.
