“Forty Two” - this is an older painting that I decided to post for sale. It measures 18” X 24” X .75” and is framed with a kind of a cheap’o float frame from Dick Blick. The texture is a buildup of acrylic gesso which is allowed to set fully and then I used very thin layers of watery acrylic paint which was applied as a wash to create the layers. I’ve provided a few close up images to help give you a better idea of the texture and depth of the image. This painting has been protected with a coat of gloss varnish.
